Comprehensive Plan Committee

Bremen Conservation Commission

The Bremen Conservation Commission is a Town committee tasked with stewarding the public lands of Bremen. Our regular monthly meeting will be on zoom at 5 PM on the first Wednesday of the month.  Everyone is welcome. Information on how to join can be found on the Bremen Conservation Commission page. We would love to get more members of the community involved. We also welcome associate members. Thanks!

Burn Permits

In Maine, open burning, even on your private property, requires a burn permit. There are a few exceptions such as cooking fires or campfires under 3 feet in diameter and height. Burning is prohibited during red flag warnings and when fire danger is high. For those wishing to secure a permit for outdoor burning, please use the address below:
